Writing for Academic Publication
UC Berkeley course number: COLWRIT W200 10-Week Course: June 8 - August 14, 2020 Do you need to publish your research in an international journal? If so, you are certainly not alone. However, writing for academic publication is not a "natural talent" - it is a craft scholars need to learn and develop. This course is designed to give you the necessary tools for that craft, to write research articles in your specific field. It is recommended for any scholar that needs to publish research in English-medium international journals. This is a unique opportunity to take this UC Berkeley course from anywhere in the world. About the Instructor Dr. Ron Martinez is recognized by the U.S. Department of State as an English Language Specialist with expertise in English-medium support for international scholars. He received his M.Sc. in Applied Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition from the University of Oxford, and holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Nottingham. Dr. Martinez has helped over a thousand students and professors get their research published in English-medium international journals. |
