1. NARROW READING

  1. Do a Google search for "5 things you didn't know about..."
  2. Find an article that interests you, read it, and post the URL here.
  3. Be prepared to provide a few interesting highlights from the article.
  4. Try to think of a similar article that you would like to write.

2. WRITING FROM READING

  1. Choose a topic to write a "5 things you didn't know about..." article.
  2. As you choose different sources to gather information, also note down vocabulary.
  3. Notice that many lexical items are repeated across many different websites.
  4. Write your article, and post it to your blog.  Also include images if appropriate.
